- Features:Foliage: Stiff, succulent, sword-shaped leaves that curve inward, forming a dense, symmetrical rosette resembling a large, spiky blue-green artichoke. The foliage has a striking blue-green color with subtle vertical stripes and bears small, dark teeth along the margins.Flowers: At maturity (after 10-15 years), it sends up a tall, dramatic flower spike with yellow to greenish-yellow flowers. The plant dies after flowering but typically produces offsets (pups) at its base.Habit: A large, evergreen, perennial succulent with a strongly architectural, clump-forming habit.
