Specification
  • The leaves are broad, dense, soft, slightly curled, elastic, verdant, and combined to form a rose shape.
  • An evergreen perennial, it grows to 4 feet (1.2 m) tall and 5 feet wide, with the old leaves falling off as the plant matures, leaving the stem visible.
  • Arching yellow flower stems emerge from mature plants in summer, reaching 10 feet (3 m) in length and curving back like a fox's tail;
  • After about a decade of maturity, the plant dies back after flowering and shifts around the base, often forming clusters of rosettes.
  • It is very ornamental and can be planted in clusters on roadsides, in sand or in grass, or planted alone to decorate rockery edges and corners.
  • Potted plants are suitable for garden greening, and young plants can be used for indoor balcony and window sill decoration.
