  • Features:Foliage: Broad, smooth, fleshy, pale blue-green to gray-green leaves that arch gracefully backward, forming a large, symmetrical, trunkless rosette. Unlike most agaves, the leaves are spineless and soft to the touch.Flowers: At maturity (after 10+ years), it produces a spectacular, arching flower spike that can reach 5-10 feet long. The spike is densely packed with greenish-yellow flowers, creating the distinctive "fox tail" appearance.Habit: An evergreen, perennial succulent with a sculptural, rosette-forming habit. It is monocarpic (dies after flowering) but produces offsets (pups) around the base to form a large clump over time.
