- Features:Foliage: Large, fleshy, lance-shaped, apple-green to yellow-green leaves that form a broad, open rosette. The leaf margins are adorned with large, distinctive, dark brown to reddish, curved teeth resembling cow horns, and each leaf is tipped with a sharp, dark terminal spine.Flowers: At maturity (after 10-15 years), it sends up a massive, branched flower spike, 15-20 ft. tall, with greenish-yellow flowers. The plant is monocarpic (dies after flowering) but often produces offsets.Habit: An evergreen, perennial succulent with a bold, sculptural form and a more open rosette than many other agaves.
